TREASURERS REPORT: End of March 2010
Bank Atlantic – reg.
Bank Atlantic – assessessment -

GUEST SPEAKER : Peter Levine – speaking on home values in todays market – especially our area.
• Pre 2008 and into 2008 = Home values were $300 - $400,000
• 2009 = over 14, 000 Broward foreclosures
• 2010 = Home values drop to mid $200,000’s
• 2011 = more drop in prices
• 2012 & 2013 = expect to see increase in hom
PRESIDENTS REPORT: Jerry spoke about the HOA accomplishments during 2009.
• Canal restoration finalized
• Resurfacing of streets
• Retained a collection agency
• Ficus hedges on all common HOA property was cut back to a height of 6 ft. by CPM – no charge to the HOA.
• Continual spraying of all common HOA ficus for whitefly.
• Applied for City beautification grant money to help defray cost of relandscaping all medians within the community.
