PRESIDENTS REPORT:

OLD BUSINESS:

•        No business discussed

NEW BUSINESS

•        South lake on 66th Terrace = portion of lakes edge “broke away” – 80 feet long / 2-3 feet
deep.  Thanks to neighbor, Mike Fogerty, for staking up the danger zone!!  Robyn contacted
Pine Tree Water District to come out and assess the problem.
•        Problems <again> with lighting on Wiles Road.
* East End = no problems
             *West End
1.) CPM’s trimming crew cuts through exposed wires.
2.) Flagpost light fixture smashed causing major outage.
•        Jerry contacted ALCOR electric.  Their bid to enclose exposed wired in conduit and bury
is $695.00.  To furnish alternate flagpole fixture is $795.00.   Total $1490.00

MOTION by Robyn to have ALCOR electric furnish & install PVC conduit from
property wall / electric box to existing fixtures at a cost of $695.00.  At this time we will have
ALCOR disconnect the flagpole fixture.
                       SECONDED by Dave.

•        Jerry & Robyn did a “walk-thru” with Tony from CPM.  Common area hedges (ficus) are
completely out of code in height restrictions.  Tony has agreed that CPM will reduce height of all
ficus at NO COST.  Work to begin within the month.
•        Also, at the same time of the “walk-thru” discussion was held on ideas with regard to
relandscaping / updating all the HOA’s road medians.  CPM’s bid is $12,411.75.  Robyn is going
to check into City of Coral Springs matching grants to help defry some of this cost.  Our 2010
budget lists $7680.00 for landscaping improvement.
•        Proposals/ pictures presented by H/O Mike Fogerty with regard to installing lake
fountains.  Equipment / installation / maintenance to cost over $27,000.00.   Although it would
add aesthetically wise to our neighborhood – we put this idea on the back burner for now.
