TREASURERS REPORT: End of December 2008 Bank Atlantic – reg. Bank Atlantic – assess & reg. 417,227.21 Bank of America – CD $11,694.52
PRESIDENTS REPORT:
• Letters were sent out to h/o’s about extending our special assessment for an additional year thru 2011. this letter gave us a 14 day notice for the meeting which will be held on Feb. 6, 2009 at 7 pm at Park Springs Elementary School cafeteria. • The question was brought up as to WHO to invite to the meeting from our legal department. ( invitations to Michael Emery and John Rusnik from Bank Atlantic)
OLD BUSINESS:
• The Board has a conflict of payment to Pillar with regard to the FPL utility clearance. Work authorization #02212007 – Geotechnical Engineering – states utility clearance. A letter to be drafted to Pillar to ask why they are charging us to coordinate with FPL on this matter when Pillar should have already known about this utility line problem and it’s placement.
NEW BUSINESS
• . Homeowners are again questioning who will be liable for maintenance on the 35 foot easement along canal reconstruction. Bill Laystrom needs to be contacted. • Why were we not informed by Pillar (before receiving invoice) that one (1) pipe structure was made the wrong size ? this structure ties in with the City run off. Didn’t Pillar know this with their surveys and multiple inspections? •
