TREASURERS REPORT:  End of December 2011
        Bank Atlantic – reg.  $50,320.46
        Bank of America – CD  $12,008.11
        
** Assessment account for canal restoration is PAID IN FULL.
** 60 delinquent for 2011
** Budget for 2012 is done
** Feb. 1 letter done by Jerry & approved
** Invoice for 2012 done and approved


PRESIDENTS REPORT:

•        February 1st mailing is ready to be printed / sent out.

OLD BUSINESS:

•        Much discussion about excessive fees from MBR regarding collections of delinquent homeowners.
•        Robyn checked into the “lock box” system offered by local banks for processing annual payments but found out that this system is
more geared for monthly/quarterly type payments.
•        Once again we were sprayed for white fly – seems to be a real problems locally.

NEW BUSINESS:

•        CPM bid / proposal #13819 for mulching / resodding was reviewed.  MOTION : At this time ONLY mulching bid was approved for
$1120.00 which will include all common area  flower beds and around trees.  1st by Chuck    2nd by Joan.
•        Robyn will contact CPM regarding this matter
•        Jerry made mention that this will be a voting year for new board members and reminded Robyn that both proxies and ballots need to
be included in the April mailing.
•        Guest speaker – Marc spoke about alternatives to collection process from delinquent homeowners which would not be as costly as
attorney fees.

Q & A’s from Homeowners:

•        Q -Rich Reily – 61st Ave – “how early was the assessment < culvert > loan payed off ?
•        A – 4 months early.
•        Q – “what was the reason for office / meeting change?”
•        A –new insurance regulations from the School Board of Broward County required more liability than our current policy has.  
•        Q- concerned homeowner on 64th Manor is complaining about 2 homes in the cul de sac area that are currently not being taken care
of / possible illicit activities going on / abandoned vehicle in driveway / eye sore to neighborhood.
•        A- Robyn will contact Code speak with officer on these properties and report back to concerned homeowner.
